The edition 2017 of the ALMANAC is now available. It is the compendium of the International Military Medical Services. The Almanac accurately reflects the contemporary status of the military medical services of more than 125 countries, such as the number of existing military hospitals, institutes and armed forces personnel.
The ALMANAC Military Medical Corps Worldwide is the first and only publication that provides a systematic overview of the military medical services throughout the world in the form of summarised portraits. The new edition comprises almost 160 entries and is distributed in over 180 countries, mainly to the Surgeon Generals, the Decision Makers in the Military Medical Corps and in the Ministries of Defence, the Commanders of Military Hospitals and the Directors of Military Medicine Institutes.
The ALMANAC gives exclusive insights into the operation of the military medical services, their tasks and missions, the changes resulting from the restructuring of the armed forces, their procurement policies and personnel. Furthermore, it offers contact information of the military medical services.
