New scannable monophase impression material by Heraeus First-class solution for all monophase indications: Flexitime® Monophase Pro Scan with optimize

Hanau, Germany, October 1st, 2011 – From October, Heraeus completes its proven range of precision impression materials with the new Flexitime® Monophase Pro Scan. The new state-of-the-art VPS material provides precise fitting and is suitable for implant impressions as well as all other monophase indications. Thanks to its scannability, dentists using the monophase technique can benefit from modern CAD/CAM restorations.

The new precision impression material Flexitime Monophase Pro Scan with optimized formula is based on more than 10 years of market experience. The all-round medium-viscous impression material is particularly suited for implant impressions and covers a wide range of products from crowns and bridges to inlays and onlays. Its flexible working time from 1:00 to 2:30 minutes, combined with a short intraoral setting time of only 2:30 minutes, enables a stress-free work, providing enough time for tray filling and syringing with the same material – no matter the size of the case.

High-level properties and easy access to CAD/CAM precision
The high-level physical properties of Flexitime Monophase Pro Scan – i. e. high Shore A hardness, superior hydrophilicity and flow properties, high recovery from deformation – allow for outstanding precision with all indications, especially implant impressions. The powder-free scannability offers dentists an economic and convenient path to modern CAD/CAM restorations. It will be available from October 2011 in practical 380 ml cartridges. Heraeus also provides an attractive trial kit – perfect for automatic mixing in the Dynamix® speed mixing machine.
