Ambroise-Paré-Prize awarded

On October 6th the international Ambroise-Paré-Prize was awarded by the president of the MCIF Advisory Board

Admiraloberstabsarzt a.D. Dr. Karsten Ocker and the president of CIMM/ICMM (Comité International de Médicine Militaire) on the occasion of the international congress on Military Medicine in Kuala Lumpur (4.-10.10.). Many high-ranking officers from all over the world were present.

The prize was awarded for outstanding contributions published in the MCIF in the categories of clinical practice, profiling the military medical services of a particular country, network building and contributions related to approbation. The prizes were taken by the general surgeons of Pakistan, Malaysia, Bulgaria and Great Britain.

The trophy money was altogether 6.000 Euro.

MCIF is going to report in the upcoming issue (published in December).
